Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) is a long way from the Commonwealth in his upcoming spinoff from The Walking Dead.
Following a first peek of the production(opens in a new tab) in May, AMC gave fans of the long-running franchise another treat with a second look at the Daryl spinoff, catching up with the fan favourite after he rode off into the horizon on his beloved motorbike(opens in a new tab) at the end of the series.
In the teaser, we see Daryl speaking into a tape recorder before traversing the empty landscapes of France, from Marseilles to a mountainside town, where he investigates a seemingly abandoned building. Outside, we see scrawled on a wall "pouvoir des vivants" or "power of the living".
"My name is Daryl Dixon," Daryl says into the recorder. "I come from a place called the Commonwealth. It's in America. I went out looking for something, and all I found was trouble. If I don't make it back, I want 'em to know I tried. Hell, I'm still trying."
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is streaming this fall/autumn on AMC and AMC+.
